Privacy policy.

Wielden is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains, in plain language, what we do collect, why, and what your rights are.

01Who we are

Wielden is a trading name of Eldwen Holding Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17313227). Registered office: College House, 2nd Floor, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London HA4 7AE. For anything in this policy, contact jeremie@wielden.com.

02What we collect

We collect personal information in exactly two situations, both initiated by you:

• When you email us. We receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to reply, and we keep the correspondence for as long as it remains relevant to the conversation or a potential engagement.
• When you book a discovery call. Scheduling is handled by Calendly. The name, email address, and any notes you enter in the booking form are processed by Calendly on our behalf and shared with us so we can hold the call. Calendly’s own privacy policy applies to data entered in their widget.

This site has no user accounts, no newsletter, and no contact forms of its own. We never sell personal information, and we never share it with third parties except the service providers named in this policy, who process it only on our instructions.

03Analytics

We measure site usage with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. Umami does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not collect personal identifiers. What we see is aggregate data: page views, referral sources, country-level location, browser type, and interactions such as clicks on the “Book a call” button. None of it can be traced back to you as an individual, which is why no consent banner is required.

04Cookies

wielden.com sets no tracking cookies. The embedded Calendly scheduler may set its own strictly functional cookies within its widget in order to work; it does not track you across the rest of the site.

05Service providers

The site relies on three providers, each receiving only what is necessary:

• Hostinger — web hosting. Standard server logs (IP address, request time) are processed to serve the site and maintain security.
• Calendly — call scheduling, as described above.
• Umami — cookieless, aggregate analytics, as described above.

06Legal basis and retention

We process the information above on the basis of legitimate interest: responding to people who contact us and understanding how the site is used. Correspondence and booking details are kept only as long as they remain relevant — typically for the duration of a conversation or engagement, after which they are deleted.

07Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to restrict or object to its processing. Email jeremie@wielden.com and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

08Visitors outside the UK

Wielden works primarily with US-based firms. If you visit from outside the UK, the limited information described above is processed in the UK and by the service providers listed, under safeguards required by UK law.

09Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
